Saturday, July 8: Reading section
First 90 minutes, we’ll discuss question types and examples of
Factual Information, Negative Factual, Inference, Rhetorical Purpose, Vocabulary
10-minute break
Second 90 minutes, we’ll discuss question types and examples of
Reference, Sentence Simplification, Insert text, Prose Summary, and Table
20 minutes of Q&A
Saturday, July 15: Listening section
First 90 minutes, we’ll discuss question types and examples of
Gist-content, Gist-purpose, Detail, Pragmatic Function
10-minute break
Second 90 minutes, we’ll discuss question types and examples of
Pragmatic Attitude, Organization, Connecting Content, Inference
20 minutes of Q&A
Saturday, July 22: Speaking section
First 90 minutes, we’ll discuss question types and examples of
Independent and Campus-related
10-minute break
Second 90 minutes, we’ll discuss questions and examples of
Integrated lectures with and without text
20 minutes of Q&A
Saturday, July 29: Writing section
First 90 minutes, we’ll discuss and work on examples of the integrated essay
10-minute break
Second 90 minutes, we’ll discuss and work on examples of the academic discussion question
20 minutes of Q&A
After each workshop, you’ll receive the presentation slides, video replay recording, and additional practice materials to further work on each section independently throughout the following week.
